Sec. 8. President – The Local Union President shall be held responsible for the strict enforcement of the IBEW Constitution, the rules therein, and the Local Union bylaws. He/she shall be held personally liable and subject to penalty for failure to conduct orderly meetings or failure to carry out the responsibilities and duties imposed herein.
(a) The President is empowered and shall do as follows:
(1) Preside at all meetings of the Local Union and see that each meeting is promptly adjourned not later than 11:00 PM prevailing time. When necessary, to preserve order, he/she shall appoint members to assist in doing so and in carrying out his/her rulings.
(2) As Acting Business Manager, he/she may attend the Executive Board meetings as and to the extent permitted by Article XVIII Section 8 of the IBEW Constitution.
(3) Appoint all committees.
Perform such other duties as are prescribed herein, or may be assigned by the Local Union when such duties are not in conflict with the IBEW Constitution
Sec. 9. Vice President – The Vice President shall assist the president in the discharge of his/her duties and shall fill his/her place in case of the President’s absence and perform such duties as are required by the Constitution and these bylaws. The Vice President shall preside over the Executive Board and be tie-breaking vote when necessary.
Sec. 12. Treasurer – The Treasurer shall deposit all Local Union moneys turned over to him/her by the Financial Secretary in a bank or banks designated in the name of the Local Union. He/she shall make no disbursements without sanction of the Local Union, except for payments of regular or standing bills such as rent, salaries, and payments to the International Secretary, which do not require a vote of the Local union, and upon an order or warrant signed by the President and the Recording Secretary. He/she shall post a copy of his/her monthly report on the local Union’s bulletin board. He/she shall submit all books and records for inspection or audit when called upon by the International Secretary, the Local Union President, or Executive Board

Sec. 1. The Business Manager shall perform such duties as are stated in Article XVIII of the IBEW Constitution and these bylaws. Also, the Business Manager shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Local Union and which are not in conflict with the IBEW Constitution and these bylaws.
Sec. 2. The Business Manager shall report to the Executive Board and the Local Union when called upon, or when he/she deems such necessary. The Executive Board and Local Union officers shall cooperate with the Business Manager in the performance of the duties of the office and shall not work in conflict with the Business Manager.
